Bridle Ridge is a 331-home master-planned community covering 191 acres.  Our community is a fun and active and has something for everyone. Events planned throughout the year offer a great chance to ‘be neighbors’. Award winning ALTA and USTA tennis teams provide a place for players at all levels of play. Our playground and pool are available for families to relax and have fun.  Our neighborhood amenities include:

Bridle Ridge Web Site/Facebook

The Bridle Ridge Web Site (www.bridleridgehoa.com) contains a vast amount of community information.  Your login/password for the website will be “LastName” + “HouseNumber” (eg. Local Information for new Bridle Ridge Neighbors

Public Schools:

Bridle Ridge children attend the following public schools:

Registration for newcomers is at Hill Educational Center, located at 136 Elm Street, Cumming, GA 30040.  You can contact the Registration and Records office at (678) 947-0863, ext. 0 to schedule an appointment to register.  There is information on the documents needed for student registration on the quick link found on the Forsyth County Schools webpage www.forsyth.k12.ga.us.   Bus routes including the stops within Bridle Ridge and approximate pickup times can also be found on this website.

State and County Services:

www.forsythco.comis the web address of the Forsyth County Government.  You can sign up online to receive severe weather alerts by phone/email/text.  By doing so, you will also be automatically signed up to receive emergency notification calls from the 911 Center that notify residents of emergencies or important situations. This has proved to be very useful to Bridle Ridge residents in the past.

The non-emergency phone numbers for the Forsyth County Sheriff are (770) 781-2222 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and (770) 781 3087 after hours.

New residents moving to Bridle Ridge from a different statecan apply for a Georgia driver license (within 30 days of becoming a Georgia resident) at any of the Georgia Department of Driver Services Customer Service Centers.  All Customer Service Centers can transfer an out-of-state license to a Georgia driver license, but a few offer appointments to transfer your out-of-state license to Georgia (recommended). The Centers are open from Tuesday to Saturday with Tuesdays typically being busy days.  Our nearest Centers are located at Norcross and Cumming, with Lawrenceville being the nearest one offering appointments for transfers. Visit www.dds.ga.govfor more information and documents required.  You can register to vote in Georgia when you apply for your Georgia driver license.

You are required to provide a valid Georgia driver's license or Georgia ID card with the current Forsyth County address before a license plate can be issued for your vehicles.  The Tax Commissioner's Officethat is closest to us is the Sharon Springs Office, 1950 Sharon Road Cumming, GA 30041 (770)781-2110, located within Sharon Springs Park. Recreation and Sports Programs:

www.forsythco.com/parkshas information on the parks and recreation centers in the county.  Our nearest recreation center is Old Atlanta Park Recreation Center 810 Nichols Rd, Suwanee (770) 205-4646.  Amenities here include two basketball gymnasiums, indoor walking track, cardio and weight room, community room with kitchen, dance studio and fitness studio.  Information on the fitness and other programs and passes to use the cardio/weight room can be found on their website.  You can register online for classes/programs once your household is assigned a number (by visiting the rec center in person).
